If
you have any questions not answered
below, please give us a call.
How
long does it take to get an
appointment?
If
you can come in during
the day, during the week,
appointments are usually
available within two weeks
(except during peak holiday
periods). Evening and Saturday
appointments are always
the first to be scheduled
and may be booked up six
to eight weeks ahead.
Do
I have to come in for a consultation?
We
encourage all of our clients
to visit the studio prior
to their session date.
At the consultation, we
can discuss clothing options
and story or theme ideas
you would like to incorporate
into the session. Only
through careful planning
with our clients can we
transform a mere photograph
into an exceptional piece
of personal artwork to
be passed along for generations.
How
long does it take to get my order?
Previews
are usually ready within
seven to ten days. Finished
portraits take anywhere
from two to six weeks,
depending on the portrait
finish selected.
How
much are your session fees and photographs?
We
have a wide variety of
sessions and portraits
to accommodate about any
need. Our session fees
start at $25, depending
on the number of people
and options included. The
minimum portrait investment
varies depending on the
session chosen, but usually
starts around $100.
We
can't get our schedules together
to view the previews. May we
take them out of the studio?
You
may take your previews
home to make your portrait
selections. A credit card
number is required to take
the previews out. Previews
must be returned within
fourteen days or your credit
card will be charged.
What
if there is a problem with my portraits?
While
we do everything possible
to prevent errors with
your session and portraits,
mistakes occasionally do
occur. If you're not completely
thrilled with both your
previews and finished portraits,
we'll correct the problem
or refund your entire investment
- no questions asked.
How
long does a session take?
Depending
on the sessions, anywhere
from forty-five minutes
to two hours. Individuals
and small families usually
take about forty-five minutes,
while we allow up to two
hours for a bridal session.
What
should I/we wear?
Clothing
is a great opportunity to elevate a nice photograph into
a cherished family heirloom. Much of the time spent in our
planning consultation is devoted to clothing choices. Important
points to keep in mind are: 1) Coordinate colors between
all members of the group 2) Solids work better than most
patterns and 3) Most adults usually prefer long sleeves
to short sleeves or sleeveless. Additional information about
clothing options can be found on our client
info page.
What
is my child gets sick or I need
to reschedule?
Rescheduling
is never a problem with
us. However, on many days
we do have a waiting list
for appointments, so as
much advanced notice you
can give us will benefit
our other clients. We understand
that children can wake
up on the wrong side of
the bed and be in a bad
mood all day. If this happens,
please give us a call and
reschedule. If you find
your are running late for
your appointment, please
give us a call before you
come. If we have a session
immediately following yours,
we may need to reschedule.
